This piece was commissioned by the Boston Museum of Fine Arts as part of a public seating project. It consists of cast glass elements formed by graphite molds to produce two complimentary vertical elements that support two aluminum crossbeams supporting the horizontal seat. The composition of this bench is a juxtaposition of highly textural surfaces contrasted with smooth, optically clear surfaces.
This bench was featured on the PBS 6-part series, Sister Wendy's American Collection.

Copper Cast Glass Vessel, 1996 9"h x 22"w x 6"d
Polished cast glass and patinaed copper on glass base
This piece was formed in a graphite mold and possesses a patinaed copper
interior and exterior surface. The front and back surfaces of the vessel
were cut, ground and polished. The vessel sits on two 4" round cast glass
bars, which are in turn supported by a cast glass table base. This vessel
can be seen at the Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art in New York City.

Copper Patinaed Vessel, 1989

Polished cast glass with patinaed copper
Purchased by the Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art in New York City, this
piece was formed from clear soda lime glass with a patinaed copper exterior
surface. The vessel was cut, ground and polished.
