Oklahoma City National Memorial
Cast Glass Chairs, 2000 Oklahoma City, OK
The design was originally conceived by Butzer Design Partnership, Cambridge, MA, to yield 168 glass, bronze and granite chairs memorializing the victims of the Oklahoma City bombing incident. The chairs consist of hollow pressed glass cubes that are illuminated from inside, with the victims' names acid-etched on the front panel. For each chair, four individual cast glass panels were joined at their corners with a silicone joint. These pieces were pressed from iron molds and the joint surfaces were milled for precise assembling of the panels.

Montecito Residence Project
Cast Glass Table, 2000 Montecito Residence, Montecito, CA
This project was a privately commissioned dining table with a planned dimension of 118' x 64'. The top surface was originally constructed of five individual castings that were butt-joined with epoxy to create a 1,200 lb. slab. This structure is supported by two vertical columns that are tied together with a cast glass prism.

Chicago Residence Project
Cast Glass Front Door and Vanity, 1999 Chicago Residence, Chicago, IL
This project involves elements in a number of architectural situations. The cast glass entry door consists of three panels individually cast from graphite molds.
The panels were then incorporated into a steel frame. The cast glass powder room vanity includes both a cast glass countertop and basin, also from graphite molds.

San Francisco Fountain Wall Project
Cast Glass Fountain Wall, 1997 San Francisco Residence, San Francisco, CA
For this project, the architectural firm of Lundberg Associates, San Francisco proposed a freestanding glass wall to enhance an outdoor garden fountain. A stainless steel structural frame was implemented to suspend cast glass panels that were yielded from graphite molds. Rectilinear glass blocks, 1-1/2" thick, were poured of a clear soda lime glass. These blocks were then fastened to the structural steel with a series of nylon clips.

San Jose Veterans Memorial Project
Architectural Glass Wall, 1997 San Jose Veterans' Memorial Project, San Jose, CA
This glass memorial wall is comprised of 4' x 8' x 1/2" thick plate glass panels that were silkscreened with a ceramic frit and later tempered. The design includes images of U. S. military personnel taken from photographs and transferred to silk screens. Superimposed upon these panels are letters written by U. S. military personnel in times of war. The photo images of these individuals appear as transparent images on a white background with typeface of the letters superimposed in black.

Phoenix Project
Cast Glass Block Wall, 1994 Memorial Wall, Phoenix, AZ
This project was done collaboratively with Otto Rigan of Phoenix, Arizona, for the City of Phoenix. Cast glass blocks were poured from graphite molds and incorporated into a stone wall. The glass blocks were treated with a reflective mylar coating and etched by sandblasting with the names of individuals who had lost their lives in the line of civic duty.
